FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2022 | 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Applications are open for parade units. Parade units come in all shapes and sizes. Wrap your vehicle in lights or festive flair, create a float, or grab your troop or group, and help make our parade better than ever. Applications open July 1, with early bird pricing from July 1 - October 14. The price increases on October 15, and applications close on November 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Awards & Judges
As a participant in the Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade, you are automatically entered into the competition to win some great cash prizes! There is no overall theme this year, it's up to you, so get creative!
A panel of local community members will use the following criteria to determine the winners: originality, technical design, and entertainment value, to maximize the parade theme. Overtly commercial units that do not conform to the entertainment theme will be disqualified.
Thank you for your interest in the 26th Annual Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade! This year, cash prizes of $500 will be awarded to the best unit in 4 separate categories:
- Best Use of Lights
- Best New Entry
- Best Special Effects
- Most Original Unit
