Do you love Downtown Tempe? Show us!
REEL Love is a social media contest where you can create and share videos that highlight your favorite experiences, events, businesses or products available in Downtown Tempe. Show us what makes these special and you could win a $250 gift card to a Downtown Tempe business of choice! The contest runs through August 31, 2025.
How to Enter:
1. Visit a Downtown Tempe business, attend an event, or head over to your favorite attraction or place downtown this summer!
2. While you're there, make a short video that highlights why you love it or videos of you or others enjoying it
3. Put those videos together into an Instagram REEL or Tiktok video and post it! Eligible platforms include Tiktok, Instagram or Facebook only.
4. Tag @downtowntempe.
By tagging @downtowntempe, your video is automatically entered into our contest. You can enter as many times as you like and there is no limit! One video = One entry.
HOW TO WIN:
Downtown Tempe Authority will select up to 4 winners for the contest. Our team will review each video and select a winner. Winners are selected based on how much love is shown for Downtown Tempe - it could be a favorite business, a food or drink item, a fun thing to do, or a product or spot you just can't get enough of! Get creative, have fun, and show us what Downtown Tempe means to you!
Contest Rules:
1. Post your video on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook and tag @downtowntempe.
2. Your account/profile must be public. We can't see tags for private accounts
3. Only videos/reels count- no photos, carousels or stories
4. You may post as many videos as you like. The more creative, the better your chances.
5. The video must be focused on the Downtown Tempe district. The Downtown Tempe district is bounded by the south edge of Tempe Town Lake, College Avenue to the east, University Drive to the south, and the district's western boundary, Farmer Avenue. You can also see a map of our district, with all businesses.
6. A winner will be selected every two weeks, and there will be a total of 4 winners selected.
