Waste Not, a local nonprofit organization, is excited to present its 34th annual Empty Bowls event on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the ASU Art Museum. Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement where artists craft bowls around the world to raise money to feed the hungry in their communities.
In partnership with the Arizona Clay Association, Empty Bowls will benefit Waste Not’s network of over 85 nonprofit agencies that receive excess food for Arizonans in need. This Empty Bowls event features hand-crafted individuals’ bowls made from local artists that will be on display and available for purchase. These bowls were made specifically for this event and donated by the Arizona Clay Association. Attendees can purchase both a bowl and a salad from Salad & Go for $25. $10 for all subsequently purchased bowls.
