2nd Sundays on Mill
2024-2025 Season
Join us the 2nd Sunday in November, January, February and April from 10 AM to 3 PM for an outdoor market, live music and entertainment, snack vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. The outdoor market lines Mill Avenue between 3rd St. and University, and features homemade goods and gifts from Arizona local artisans, crafters, and makers. The event is FREE admission, family-friendly, and dog friendly.

While you shop the outdoor market, get creative with us! The theme is 'CREATE,' so it's all about art, making, and having fun with hands-on activities for everyone.
Check out our awesome and FREE workshops! Get crafty with Collaged Escape, where you'll make a unique keychain using collage techniques. If you're new to needlework, Hey Rosie Creations will guide you through how to create a small punch needle cactus wall hanging that’s perfect for all ages. Green thumbs can join The Plant Mill to pot your own tiny green plant friend in a cute ceramic pot!
We’ve also got DIY dog biscuit decorating with CAMP BOW WOW, where your furry friends can enjoy some tasty treats created by you. Be sure to check out the Tempe Community Arts team and design your own wearable art with the using shrinkable plastic—watch your drawings shrink down into colorful, custom jewelry! Interested in trying your hand at soap-making? In the beginner-friendly workshop from Naked Fig Soap, you’ll craft mini soaps using the melt-and-pour technique, and you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite scent from a selection of Arizona-inspired scents.
Come support the Kid's Market, where young artists can sell their handmade creations. Don’t miss Arizona Flower Market giving out free flower bouquets (first come, first served), and live music from seven talented musicians and DJs scattered across three locations. Plus, take a swing at our free 18-hole mini golf course and grab a snack from one of our four food vendors!
The Downtown Tempe Barber Battle CONTINUES in a high-energy, bracket-style competition where local barbers go head-to-head in categories like Mullet, Fade, and Freestyle! This exciting showdown will be showcased at each 2nd Sundays on Mill leading up to the Semifinals and Finals at the 2025 Juneteenth Block Party:

- Quarterfinals: February 9 & April 13
- Semifinals & Finals: Juneteenth Block Party on June 14, 2025
Catch the 2nd round of Match Rounds on 6th Street & Mill Ave, where you will also find the ladies of 40 Plus Double Dutch Club jumpin' and vibin' to live mixes from a Furious Styles DJ! They will be showing off their skills, as well as, teaching you how to double dutch! Just on the other side of 6th St., check out the mini car show where Old School City will be presenting 6 classic 1930's cars for viewing and you can also shop their merch!
