And when you’re ready for a break, Tempe’s cafes and restaurants make it easy to re-energize with a delicious meal or coffee with friends, keeping the holiday spirit going strong. Local Love: The Best Reason to Support Downtown Tempe
Our local shops could use some hometown love right now. Downtown Tempe is undergoing a HUGE sidewalk and utility renovation that when finished will elevate the entire downtown, but until then, our small businesses need all the love as they navigate owning a small business during a construction year. Every coffee you grab, every candle you pick up, every holiday gift you buy here is a win for our whole community. Local isn’t just convenient; it’s powerful and meaningful.
Did you know? For every $100 spent at a locally-owned business, $43 stays in the local economy, compared to only $13 at non-local businesses (Source: Local First Arizona). When you eat, shop, and support local, you’re keeping Tempe one-of-a-kind, creating jobs, fostering vibrant neighborhoods, and fueling the awesome vibe that makes our city so special!
