Stay Hydrated With These 7 Summer Cocktails

Tag: BlogRestaurants & Dining

It’s officially that time of year here in the Valley – our pools turn into lukewarm baths, we keep oven mitts in our vehicles and cook things with nothing more than sunshine and triple digit heat. To be frank, it’s just really freakin' hot! If there’s one thing we could all agree on, it’s that we need to stay hydrated. From some of the classics to a few crafted seasonals, here’s a list of 7 refreshing cocktails you can enjoy all summer long right here in #DowntownTempe.  I'll sips to that!

1. SUMMER SIPPERS LINE UP | TERRA TEMPE KITCHEN

This new summer line up of cocktails are calling your name. Head to the bar to enjoy a cocktail crafted by their Master Mixologist every day of the week!

2. FROZEN MARGS | TACO CHELO TEMPE

Taco Chelo has recently opened in Downtown Tempe, and everyone's buzzing about their frozen margaritas! Who can resist a refreshing frozen margarita in this Arizona heat? Made traditionally with blanco tequila, triple sec, lime, and agave, these are a definite must-try. You can also customize yours with one of their delicious flavors like strawberry, mango, passion fruit, or peach for just $0.50 extra!

3. COOL AS A CUCUMBER | BANG BANG SUSHI

Personally, I think cucumber is the most refreshing thing on a hot day, so this Cool As A Cucumber cocktail from Bang Bang Sushi had to make this list! This drink is made with Mi Campo blanco, agave, cucumber, lime and lychee and is even on Happy Hour (Wednesday-Sunday from 4pm-6:30pm)! For a perfect pairing, try it with another cucumber-themed Happy Hour item like a California or Veggie Sushi roll.

4. RASPBERRY LEMON DROP | LUCERO ROOFTOP LOUNGE AND TERRACE

Perched on the 16th floor of the Tempe Omni Hotel, Lucero Tempe Rooftop Lounge offers more than just breathtaking views—it's a haven for craft cocktails. One standout is this Raspberry Lemon Drop: Grey Goose vodka, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, Liber & Co raspberry gum syrup, fresh lemon.

5. 4TH STREET OLD FASHION | DEVIL'S HIDEAWAY

Welcome to Tempe's latest craft cocktail hotspot: Devil's Hideaway. Formerly known as the iconic Rula Bula, this place is a tapestry of local stories, with murals by talented artists and cocktails sporting delightfully witty names (seriously, check them out!). Meet the 4th Street Old Fashioned: A smooth bourbon base, a touch of sweetness, and a sprinkle of nostalgia. Cheers to that!

6. COCKTAIL #817 | IDLE HANDS

You wanna talk cocktails?? Idle Hands is an all new upscale cocktail bar located inside Devil's Hideaway! Open Wednesday-Sunday and only by reservation, you can experience a 90 minute cocktail experience that invites guests into an enchanting world where mixology meets mysticism!

Imagine this: Each cocktail at Idle Hands is meticulously crafted with top-tier spirits. The bartenders, akin to alchemists, use these ingredients to create elixirs that not only tantalize the taste buds but also captivate the eyes. Picture presentation techniques involving fire, ice, and smoke that enhance the mystical ambiance.

If that doesn't entice you to make a reso, idk what will tbh...

7. ANYTHING | SKYSILL ROOFTOP LOUNGE

You can savor any of Skysill's cocktails from their cocktail menu on their stunning rooftop, and it will be an amazing experience! The panoramic views of the city are unbeatable. We highly recommend visiting at sunset for an unparalleled view.
