Experience an audiovisual exploration of Indigenous worldmaking. This full band experience combines Indigenous contemporary music with elements of jazz, R&B, fusion with subtle funk nods. The music will be accompanied by visuals from the film darko, Earth Surface People's debut film releasing in 2023.
nihookááʼ diyin dineʼé is a collaboration of Earth Surface People, Menominee linguist Naneque Latender, Peyote musicians Cody and Larry Yazzie, and upcoming Diné singer Nanibaah Talley. The work celebrates Indigenous language, culture, and storytelling melding influence from across Turtle Island.
