One of the world’s most revered and varied varietals is Cabernet Sauvignon. This amazing grape is the result of an accidental mating between a red Cabernet Franc and a white Sauvignon Blanc in 17th century France, resulting in one of America’s most popular and versatile wine. The terroir and vintage can produce dramatically different experiences, so this February, we’re taking a tour of this popular potable with three high-end, West-coast Cab Savs — each hand-selected by Axel, our Director of Wine.
