Morning Squeeze wants you to raise a glass to the drink that’s as essential to brunch as bacon and eggs. The groovy breakfast and lunch spot will celebrate National Mimosa Day on Thursday, May 16 with $3.99 mimosa flights.

As bright, bubbly and easy as a Sunday morning, the Mimosa is a classic breakfast cocktail made from equal parts orange juice and sparkling wine. Many believe the drink originated in Spain where both oranges and Cava sparkling wine were readily available. Named for the yellow and effervescent flowers of the mimosa plant, Mimosas now come in a rainbow of colors as bartenders put their own twist on the drink by using different fruit juices. At Morning Squeeze, its mimosa flight does just that. It includes 4 oz servings of three Mimosa variations – traditional orange juice, pomegranate and hibiscus.
