Join ASU Art Museum Director Miki Garcia and experience the premier of their new walking tour with a socially distanced sunrise walk and receive a copy of our new coloring book. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a cell phone and a pair of headphones, download their new GuidiGO tour app and don’t forget your mask!
The ASU Art Museum collaborated with Vanessa Moreno (Purépecha, Tepehuán), Eunique Yazzie (Diné) and Dustin Lopez (Diné, Yaqui, Laguna Pueblo) to create a coloring book that represents traditional stories involving light from the Native American peoples of the Southwest.
This guided walk explores important features on ASU’s Tempe campus, using the four cardinal directions as its guide. The walk will take you from the ASU Art Museum to “A” Mountain in downtown Tempe!
