Join us in the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade! Your decorated boat will be showcased to thousands of spectators lining the shores of Tempe Town Lake. Applications closed on December 2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
2022 Entry Fees & Application
Individual or Community Units: $60
Commercial Units: $225
Awards & Judges
As a participant in the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade, you are automatically entered into the competition to win some great cash prizes! Your unit number/burgee must be visible on the port side of your boat to be judged.
A panel of local community members will use the following criteria to determine the winners: originality, technical design, and entertainment value, to maximize the parade theme. Overtly commercial units that do not conform to the entertainment theme will be disqualified.
This year, cash prizes of $500 each will be awarded to the best units in 5 separate categories:
- Best Use of Lights
- Best New Entry
- Best Special Effects
- Best Music
- Best Originality
