ARTIST NAME: Ted Savinar
Fifty etched granite pavers, 24-inches square, are marked with the phrase "I came here to…" The etched text is not immediately visible from all angles at all times, intended to come and go at different lights of the day, different days of the year – much like a whisper overheard. The artist has installed public works in numerous light rail systems and public places across the country.
