#NationalDogDay

Tag: BlogCommunity Candids

I know, I know… there seems to be a new holiday every other day. But #NationalDogDay is the cutest national holiday yet! National Dog Day was founded in 2004 to celebrate all dogs and help the public recognize the need for rescue and adoption of dogs.
Celebrating your four-legged friend can be as simple as bringing them with you on your lunch adventures. We love pups in #DowntownTempe, and to show you we created a list of dog-friendly restaurant patios in Downtown Tempe:
Although the thought of watching your pup eating a puppachino might seem adorable, let’s not forget the true meaning of National Dog Day. Even if you don’t have a dog, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate National Dog Day. Think about it – Dogs help us every day, whether they’re working on the K-9 Police Unit, detecting threats, working as service dogs, or serving as a war dog overseas.
We encourage you to do your research and support local animal shelters like Lost Our Home Pet Rescue that make a difference in our community.
